Google Bar in Jelly Bean....

OK well don't think those are HD caps anyway, no softkeys. But you are saying on your phone with stock your bar is now grey too? Snap a cap.

I guess I should search the apps - but any recommendations for a screen cap app?

Press volume down + power at the same time for about 1 second. Screen caps. ;)

Awesome wall. But that's transparent too right?

Yes, but translucent I guess is a better description. I have a feeling this is hair-splitting or 'nit picky' as the original poster said.

So if I am understanding what the OP is saying is that even though the JB google box is transparent or translucent, it is not CLEAR. IIRC, the ICS google box was totally clear with a contrasting border around it.

Again for demonstration purposes, side by side.

Ah I just looked back at my original ICS screen caps... Lol didn't even notice it was filled in on JB, still transparent so I didn't think anything of it... hmm, nitpicking indeed. To each his own I guess. :)

For some reason, the darker the wall paper the more gray and less transparent the search bar is. I set the black wallpaper eight the droid eye and it was a solid gray bar. I switched to the rainbow/water wallpaper and it got transparent.

Exactly. I use the black background, which makes this look like a solid grey bar, even though its really transparent.
Not a big deal, just thought it was nice the way it was....:)
