Google updates its keyboard on the play store to version 2.0. This brings some Kit Kat features to your device. Some new features you can find in the latest update to the Google Keyboard include an all new grey theme, shortcuts to emoji's, and Space aware gesture typing(no need to lift your finger when spacing between words just swype down to the spacebar).

The Google keyboard is easily my favorite since it tends to normally have the most accurate auto correction out of all the keyboards I've tried. You can grab the update through the playstore now, or if you would prefer you can hit up the link below for the apk download for sideloading.

New GREY theme. OO LA LA!!!! Really? *yawn*
So we have BLACK and GREY.
ROCK!

The spacebar thing is awesome, but I don't know if my brain can process spelling out an entire sentence in one shot lol

I also wonder if it auto-puncuates. May finally be a fix to the grammar butchering that's gotten 10x worse since mobile tech took off.

Yes, my grammar is totally butchered as well lol

+1... I hate having to hit Alt before grabbing a ? or ! ... why cant it be a simple long press like it used to be...

I haven't tried it yet, but I wonder if gesture typing has come to devices such as the Xoom which haven't been ab;e to support it in previous versions

It's very plain that's for sure, but it's very accurate.

I still prefer Swype/Swiftkey but there are times when both keyboards won't recognize some words no matter how careful I trace the word.

Long press the period and you get most common 8 ?,!#@':-
Slide recognition seems better than swype to me.
It's my new favorite.
