Google Nav for Rubix 1.9.5

Idk, sounds very odd to me. There was one time after re-flashing that I was slow to find GPS coordinates; I don't know why. I didn't have any issues after that.

When I have a problem isolated to one app, I un-install/re-install. I assume you've done this already. Do other apps which use location, e.g. any weather widget, Flixster, search, etc. give you at least a coarse network-based location?

I don't know exactly how to uninstall googlenav, it's not in data/app, or system/app, is it part of maps?

I'm p sure it's part of Maps which can be un-installed in RubiX. I'd give that a shot.

Do you have your starred places synced through your google acct? Wouldn't want you to lose those.

I will try that now....
Don't know if starred places synced, have contacts, gmail, and calendar synced, I think for favorites I mostly use items programmed into contacts, so think that's fine.
Thanks

I went ahead and installed Liberty1.0 rom, seeing as how I'd already reflashed rubix, with same results. It still doesn't work?? I might thing this a hardware problem, except gps works for copilot and maps, doesn't make sense to me.
Anyone have any other suggestions?

thanks,

so.... just flashed back to an apex 1.3.1 backup, worked immediately. I don't get it.....

Weird, flashed to liberty rom again, and it's still working, whereas it didn't work on liberty before either. I had to reinstall a lot of files though new. on the first round of Liberty Titanium didn't restore hardly anything, same thing happened on Gummy to me. Anyway don't believe I ran it the 2nd time, nor in Apex restore. perhaps there was something corrupted in titanium saved settings or something, I deleted all backups and started fresh. It works now, thanks for everyone's input.

Sounds like a problem with that particular app you had on there, imo. I had an issue with it at the very beginning when I had restored it with Titanium. I uninstalled and re-downloaded it from the market and it worked fine. It seems with ApeX maybe you got a new Maps app when you wiped?
