Google Releasing DIY "App Inventor" - App Creation Tool

I'm already trying to invent an app. However, i just have one picture on there. Lol. I'm trying to have the news from my college's news website onto it, but i think that's a little more advanced for the app inventor. Anyone have any ideas on how to get me started on that?

Out of frustration, I've been speculating...this is just a guess, but I wonder if they've been hit with so many bug reports that they decided to slow down the release. I also tried signing up with a second email address, and vaguely remember a message saying that they'd gotten an unexpectedly high number of invitation requests, which might cause a delay.

I suppose the easy way to investigate is to visit their FAQ and user forum, but I'm too busy reading this one!
