Google Search- location

On the google search page it says my location is unavailable. When I hit update it still says location unavailable. How do I fix this?

you can either turn on you wifi, gps (best option), or make sure you're in an area where you get good signal.

check

settings > location and security

make sure the top box is checked off.... says something like use wifi and wireless towers to locate.

yes, but I was just saying GPS will give him the most accurate location. sorry if i didn't make that clear

try pressing

alt + shift + delete to reboot the phone... see if that helps

Mine does the same thing on the Google home screen. Don't know why, but it knows my location.

from time to time, mine shows up with the blue dot on, with a number 2 next to it. I don't know what that means, but im sure it's something!

Duh... looking at screen key board, not slide out.
rebooted and its the same
