Well this is good, and I'm sure the average user won't even use Multitasking capabilities.

Airplanes, hotel rooms, long car rides, bored at the office/doctor's office while waiting etc, and when the power has gone out I have watched movies using my iPad.

You've done a lot with the XL-iPhone since the release on April 30th! Or do you have just the WiFi one that was released April 3rd? But like I said in my previous post, if you have use for it awesome! Glad you like it but I'll stick with my laptop and droid

I have the WiFi model, no need for the 3G because I tether it to my Droid for free.

I travel for business, so I use mine constantly. Lots of waiting at airports, etc. My wife has one as well, took it with her when she went out of town last weekend.

We both ditched our Sony eBooks and like the iPad better. She spent the better part of last night reading.

And you don't have to put it on your lap. Put it on the desk, airplane tray in front of you, prop it on the dash. The actual Apple case for it doubles as a stand.

Wife and I both have the 64GB model, some of the better purchases we've made recently.

Why wait at all? Who needs the official Google android pad when there are already ipad clones surfacing all over china? They are even selling one on dealextreme:

granted, the specs are pretty poor and this certainly is not an "ipad killer", but root it, 2.1 it, and potentially overclock it and you might be able to at least tell the apple fanboys that you got yours for a hundred bucks.

The M003 model supposedly has a 1ghz processor and more ram, but I can't seem to find anyone who is selling it (that's at the $200 dollar mark from what I've googled)
