Google Voice installation problem

I was having a problem durning setup and had to uninstall Google Voice from my droid. I tried to re-install from fhe market place and it says that it is already intalled. I can't find it at all on the phone. I can't even un-install from the market either. Any suggestions???

Having the same problem! This happened once with Astrid and I had to search the phone for it (like it was hidden somewhere) and finally got it to work. But I can't find GV anywhere!

In the applications list in settings hit the menu button. select filter to "All" and see if it pops up on the list after that.
