the individual boxes that contain the text with the individual voice messages. These are still black text on white background -- this is also what the bowers offers. Not sure how to change this.

^^^ I'm fine with that, I just wanted the widget to look good on the home screen.

So I swiped Bowers apk and themed it up. this is the most current version 4.01.26. You still might have to uninstall, then reinstall this one.

I will update the OP.

amazing, you even fixed all the freeze and lag bugs in the latest version, keep up the great work!

P.S. the grey text in the SMS is really hard to read. maybe make it a little darker or black?

P.P.S. Some roms that provide google app packs have google voice pre-install with the pack and it won't let me uninstall it. How can I get rid of it so I can use this version?

Try this one, I have it under my EVO app folder, though I don't know where I got it from.

Hopefully it's what your looking for. I don't edit XML files though, (meaning changing the text color of apps)

oh so thats why the voice.apk still has black text.

Yeah, the gmail is still black aswell.

Its weird cuz your 4.1.26 version has the white text but these two dont work.
