Agree with TDL, mine really works flawlessly. We have the same phone and same version of Google Now... has to be somewhere else.
Although maybe you're confusing it with "dutrows"....

Does anyone know if moto voice and google app voice app are one in the same or separate apps? When I use my wake up phrase for moto voice it recognizes my words without fail. Google voice search on the other hand is hit or miss at best. I cleared cache BTW.

Hope clearing cache and data helps. It's so odd though. I did absolutely nothing to get mine working properly again. Really, nothing. It did the auto update without me even knowing it and when I saw the notification of updates done, I thought I would have to go back and uninstall it, but I thought I should just try it first and it works fine.

I also reinstalled the update and turned off/on phone and then tried "okay google" and it worked as before with no problems. So must have been a problem in or during the 1st, update that goofed it up..
