Frankly, I don't understand this.
If I drive my car into another car there is a good chance one of us has to be towed.
If I drop my phone onto concrete there is a good chance the screen will be broken.
If I drop an egg in the kitchen there is a good chance it will break.
Glass is Glass. Gorilla or otherwise. Glass breaks when it receives a sudden impact. I don't think there is any getting around this fundamental principle of physics.
Moral of the story:
Don't hit other cars or drop your phone or eggs and you will be fine....
Just treat your phone like an egg.
