Got an email to register for Moto g power

I find that the updates break more then fix. Last Android rev broke nfc and hey Google unless I reboot only works for ten minutes then something conflicts. Don't want to erase and rebuild phone

You know I hate to say this, I really do, but that's all Moto's mess. The last few Android OS updates on many Moto phones were not very good, loaded with bugs & issues. That's not the case with every phone model though. That's one of the reasons I went to Pixel. I was tired of their sloppy updates and no fixes in sight. I blame Lenovo more than Moto for that. Lenovo has crippled the Moto development department and only wants them to focus on new phones. I have had several updates on my Pixel 4 and no issues whatsoever. So my point is....don't let the past few years of owning only Moto phones cloud your decision. Most phones get many updates and have no issues.

And.....those issues were unique to only some Z2 Force owners, not Android in general. My Z2 Force never had the NFC issue after the same update you are talking about.

It's just a shame that so many issue
Would have been happy if they just made a faster Moto z2 force with longer battery and water proof

You just gotta let that go...... Moto is 100% done with the Z series. Time to move on to something else and not wish for what will never be.

What about the hey Google and ok Google not working what fixes that. I can hold button down for assistant and it works but it doesn't respond by voice alone

I never had that issue either. But had issues with my Z Force and Assistant. Remember that Moto used Moto Voice to interact with Assistant, so it's different than every other Android phone. The fix depends on how you set it up....using Moto Voice first, then Assistant, or Assistant first. But let's not completely hijack this thread into bug fixes and everything unrelated to the original topic.

Funny you should mention that. Just got an LG V60 Dual Screen with the Dual Case NIB from Swappa for 30% less than a OnePlus 8 Pro. Now the wait!
Does it have nfc does it have a metal body or glass

Wouldn't want the dual screen though

It's LG's flagship, and for that much money, I'm sure it has NFC.

It's going to be tough finding a new phone.

It has NFC and it has glass backs on both screens. You can just use it with one screen or I believe you can get it with just one screen.

Hmm interesting I have to find a Verizon store with display models mostly they have Samsung and iPhones on display and nothing else but boxed phones
