got my droid wet, still works, but no screen

Shoot, if the iphone came to Verizon, i'd be on it. I guess it makes sense that LED and the touch screen have different capacitors.

I just don't know what to do with this droid... $200 down the drain and about to become $200 more when I buy the Droid X!

HERESEY!!!!

Verizon's CEO said "no time soon" for the iPhone, so don't hold your breath.

How are you going to get a Droid X for $200 off-contract?

Actually a friend of mine has her contract ending in 29th and she doesn't use smart phones so I'm going to renew her contract and get the Droid X with a new 2 year agreement and activate the phone on my account.

i thought the screens were easier to swap out? i guess not? but yea, it could be the backlight/inverter that has failed. it is what actually lights up the LCD screen. might as well open it all up and let it dry out properly too, you never know...
