GPS will not lock for nav.

As the title says.

The GPS locks for maps, and other applications that use GPS. But when it comes down to using it to navigate to a location I cannot get a lock anymore. I moved to DROIDMOD rom, not sure if that has any weight to it. I put the phone on my dash, by the back window outside etc. Cannot get a full lock..

Any ideas?

No ideas but I am having the same problem... although it does lock after a minute or two
