just wondering, if anyone else has problems with the keyboard? My ">" key is some weird "&alt"
and my "&" is "&amp" or something like that... is there a way to fix this?

I have the same problem. I dont use those keys so id doesn't bother me. Im on us firmware.

I have the solution.Delete and replace latinime.apk before you install Theme.

You can allso remove the mobidivkeyboard.apk from the system directory

Hello. I've been having trouble getting this to work, but mainly because i'm not using those ROMs, I have a firmware version STR_2_05.1F.2 (Wind Mobile Canada).

The error I get is:

insmod: init_module ' /system/lib/modules/ext.2.ko' failed <File exists>
Error loading Ext2.ko, exiting script ...

Since I don't have anything to flash with, I normally use factory reset, but not sure if this works.

You're help is appreciated.

Since I run a Swedish keyboard, I always uninstall all of the installed keyboards with "root explorer"

Remember to install your preferred variant first though
Cleanup removes quick office, so you don't want to run that usually.

Quick office actually costs 10 bucks on market :S

I've been using "SlideIT" for a few months now, it has one or two small issues, but tweak settings and it does english and swedish simultaneously. It's similar to Swype, except it works without all the hassle.
It's five dollars, or it can be found pirated here and there. 2.1 is the latest.

720p recording

On another note, I now run the Europe open firmware (1E)
With 64 kbyte clusters on a Class 2 Sandisk card, and JIT+tweaked build.prop, 720p recording Actually is somewhat useful.
20 fps stable-ish, no hangs and no 30 second studders.

480p is however pretty nice too, and marginally smaller with much higher fps and detail is much better in low light.

I just flashed back to Starhub firmware. Mine is from Singapore. I got involved with flashing with Motorola E398 and backup used to be so easy with Flash & Backup 3
Been trying to contact them but the site has a problem. Now I'm stuck with backing up apps and settings with Titanium.

Will try other firmware when I have the time and patience.

Failed to open image

i have successfully flashed to the Russian firmware and applied the rev 2 optimizer on my Starhub phone. Everything seems fine except for one thing. Whenever I try to use a picture file for my wallpaper, i will get "Failed to open image" error. This error appears when media gallery tries to open cropping screen.

anyone knows why?

I redo the entire process using the US firmware and now it is fine.. weird

anyway if anyone wants to be able to read Chinese characters, do not use the Russian firmware.

So I used this script back when it was v2. What steps would I need to take if I want my phone to be flashed to the newest Russian firmware + using the current version of the optimizer? Currently, my XT720 is using the launch Singaporean Starhub firmware.

Just a random tip: don't delete videoplayermoto.apk, it gives errors when you delete it.

replace my app and framework folder to theme folder either genesis or nexttheme..
