Hi,

first of all, great work, workes fine on me (xt720EU).
How do i remove the installed theme (installed Genesis)???

*Edit: Updated the script to fix dalvik-cache (it was not moving to /cache correctly). Verified that apps are installing to ext3 partition and dalvik-cache is now installing to /cache partition.

All the usual, plus added what should be a working hacked version of Verizon's NFL application and some Star Wars live wallpapers (which I think I also had in a previous release).

In this release the cleanup script DOES NOT remove the MotoHome.apk so your default home/launcher is still there if you want to use it.

The File is no longer there, Is it not available any longer?

The download link for the US script from the original post is no longer working.

You could download from my FTP.
But I only have 10mbit (up) and it's all hosted on a router with a USB stick for storage..

I've got open recovery working on my wind xt720 last night and successfully backed up my rom, tonight I will be trying the US Bell script against the stock rom. Will post back on results.

I can confirm the US download will work with Wind XT720

After you run through the different script options and reboot the phone will hang for a minute or two and will boot up with the new theme if installed.

Apps will need to be re-installed. They will appear to still work but will error out unless you remove-readd them. This seems to be the only side effect of using apps2sd

I can confirm that apps2sd is working as I can see 70mb of my 1gb alloticated has been used since reinstalling some of my apps.

Seems good, keep up the good work. Hopefully we will get a real 2.2 rom soon, I would be willing to try to help with testing on the xt720.

can someone help me out.
I was able to install Apps2SD successfully but it kept on installing on the main memory. So restored my phone back to factory reset, and did another format.
Upon doing the steps again i kept getting.

insmod: init_module '/system/lib/modules/ext2.ko' failed (file exists)
error when loading ext2.ko, exiting...

I tried deleting that file using root explorer but it keeps coming back

I was able to install app2card
now my apps are all in /system/sd/app

problem is, even all my apps are in /system/sd/app
I only have 54mb free space in the internal memory?
