guys, convince me that the bionic is still a great phone thats not outdated

well I think maybe kexec will let us modify the kernel (or rather fool phone into letting us use our own) so hash or another kernel dev can deliver full experience..

What exactly does kexec do? I have stock CM 10 but I don't really get what would be different about kexec

I can't explain technically what it does--but it basically it allows loading a kernel in place of the phones kernel. I think it folks the bootloader. @hashcode0f has (or had) info on it on his blog. At first, I think there was other stuff needed for kernel and so it want really worth it, but I think some interfaces/like api's/drivers or something, became accessable from moto so it's now doable but still alot of work.

Sorry so vague, I just kinda get the idea and trust that the details are legit. He actually explains things well if the info is still on his site. (Even if I read it again I doubt I could come back and explain very well. Site is hash of codes if you search (that's still how I get to it). It's kinda his blog/journal

Thanks to this community, I gave my Bionic a second chance by installing .232 (want to be able to downgrade to .905 for the OTA). It was very worthwhile. My phone finally seems like it's now the device I was promised when I bought it on 9/15/11. That being said, we deserve near flawless performance and timely updates now. I'll be severely disappointed if we don't get a JB OTA too.

This is the first time ive left one of my droids stock since it was new a year or so ago. Ive only gotten the over the air updates. It has been a good move. This phone has been very stable. I think ive only had to pull the battery twice since new.
