Handcent SMS and Primary Shortcuts

I use the Handcent SMS app for messaging on a Galaxy S6. Recently I have noticed that the app is getting removed from the primary shortcuts. I have had to re-add this app to the primary shortcuts several times lately as it has mysteriously disappeared.

Has anyone seen this happen with this app, or other apps? Any ideas or solutions?

Did Handcent update recently? In the past I've had apps remove the shortcut after an update. It's been a while since I've seen it happen though. I don't know of any fix other than re-adding it.

Possibly. I can't say for sure. Next time I'll look when it disappears to see it there was an update.
