Hey, if you're on Verizon give Verizon Messages a try. That's what I used until I left them.
As far as Handcent, yeah the ad looking like a text sucks. I'm sticking with it a little longer while I seek another with as good of pop ups and working well with my S watch. Reply in pop up and/or the watch is a must for me.

Can someone post a liberated copy of Verizon messages? It's a free app so it's not piracy

I used Handcent for well over a year and it was great. But with each update it just started getting more bloated so I ditched it. I switched to GoSMS and that was good for awhile. Then I discovered Textra and haven't looked back, hands down the best texting app I've ever used. I paid for the premium version to get rid of the ads and support the dev.

Ignore my last post in this thread about Verizon messenger, I see that it's only available for verizon phone numbers.

What's the opinion here on evolve SMS?
