Handcent Status Bar Notifications With No Information

Hello everyone,

I've recently re-installed Handcent after updating to the newest CM rom. I've noticed a disturbing lack of information when I get a text. The way handcent worked for me when I first gave it a go a few months ago mirrored the way the default SMS app worked. When I got a message, say from my friend Adam, the drop-down status drawer would say something like:

"(New Text Icon) Adam - Hey we should go look at that carb..."


Now, handcent gives me the new message icon, but no other information. It used to tell me what the stock SMS did. But now, when Adam (or anyone) decides to message me, all I get up top is the little Handcent picture and when I slide it down I just see a "New message" line next to the Handcent icon.


Any ideas as why Handcent's gone all laconic on me?

I know there's a setting somewhere in the notifications settings area that is for privacy mode, where it wont show the content of the message in the status bar. Check to see if that somehow got enabled.
