Handcent & Verizon Notification

On my Verizon Blackberry Curve, just before my droid, I would get a notification check mark after my text message to indicate that my message was received on the other person's phone, providing the other person had Verizon as well. Now, on my Droid using Handcent, I am not getting that notification, and I hoping to find the answer why here. Thank you everyone.

Delivery reports " request a delivery report from carrier"
I am willing to guess you need to check this box

also in that same menu is settings for MMS you can request Delivery reports and Read reports
