Has this happened to anybody else?

The gold on my camera button has been peeling off. Its almost all gone. It looks terrible. Has this happened to any body else? Should I paint it black?

I've read comments from other Droid owners who have the same issue. I have not,however, seen any solution.

My Droid is going on 4 months and still looks brand new. But I have seen other posts with users having the same issue. It is apparently relatively common. Fixes are really just personal preference.

Well has anybody tried anything to cover up the white? I feel like sharpie would wear off pretty quick, but paint may be a little iffy. i suppose i could get it switched out at verizon but thats just stupid.

I was just wondering if any body had any good ideas on how to fix it. I've only had my phone about 3-4 months.
