Have a droid x, still within 14 day return, worth it to get a thunderbolt?

I would suggest going to a verizon store and playing with a thunderbolt to judge for yourself. I had the X and liked it but I have the Thunderbolt now and love it. I don't think it will be too much longer before it is cracked wide open for tons of ROMs.

Unfortunatley, going to the VZW store to test drive the TB may not yield you the best experience. Not that I have anything special on my phone to make it as snappy as it is, but one of the two TB at my local VZW store was slow and at times non-responsive. I don't know what people have done to it but if I hadn't already had the phone, I wouldn't have been impressed.

So I'd suggest playing with all the TB phones they have on display just in case one of them for whatever reason isn't performing as it should.

Display phones hardly ever see a reboot. I think that's the issue with most of them..

I have said this on my other posts, I went from a basic flip phone to the TB, liike going from a ford escort to a cobra lol.....guys who sit around have newest droids are so...OMG...they challenge me, "ok call me see if you can surf internet while talking to me, see if you can send mail"...it does, they are in aw...tethered, can make and take phone calls....live wall paper...it is great phone..I was going hold out for bionic, but looked at the compare, TB sold me. once sykpe mobile finally ready I'm set.

i've had droid x since it was released on july 15th of last year. now i have thunderbolt and i feel like i went from dial up to broadband in both internet speed and phone processing speed. but you do need an extended battery if you plan on using it regularly.
