HDMI Problems all help accepted

Ok I am running liberty 1.5 with linear theme slightly modified with a few things like metamorphed battery icons lock screens and so on (don't know that these will effect it) and I can not get my HDMI to work at all. Its actually not even recognizing that it is plugged In. I have real HDMI app downloaded and still no results. Just wondering if there is a setting I am needing to change or what. I'm fairly new with some of these thing so not sure what I'm doing wrong. Any and all suggestions welcome. Ty so much in advance.

HDMI isn't supported on AOSP roms such as Liberty.
