Headset Volume

Hello,
I noticed that the headset volume is a little low no matter what headphones I use. I'm using the DSP Manager app and I've tried a few different volume boosters from the market. I know a kernel will increase the volume but until then is there anything I can do?

Are you adjusting the volume "while" playing the music, or before? If you adjust it before, you're adjusting the phone volume. If you adjust it during, you're adjusting the "media" volume. Their are two distinctly separate volume settings.

The volume you hear is partly dependent on the efficiency of the headphones. I use Shure SE 215 and love them. They are a serious step up from the beats, and they are very efficient. They play significantly louder with out distortion for the same volume setting on the phone.

Very true. I didn't bother to mention that because if the included iBeats earphones aren't loud enough, there's something seriously wrong.....either with the volume setting or your hearing.
