Hello, Need Help

Hi, I am new to Droid/Android and need some help. I have a Droid 2 and I need help syncing the contacts from my phone to my Google account. I am able to sync all of my contacts to the My Verizon site easily, but when I try to sync them with Google it only shows two of my contacts. Is there an easy way to sync all of my contacts with their information to my Google account?

Thanks!

Try going to settings/accounts & sync and select the sync options. Also, hit your gmail account and check the frequency that the accounts are synced. Sometimes it's defaulted to a few days and not daily. There should be more options there for what you want synced.

Hope this helps.

Okay I tried editing my settings and then I synced everything. I still only have two contacts showing up on Gmail account when I look at it online. If it helps, the only two contacts are the ones I have manually added to my phone since I got the phone. However, I want to view all my contacts from my Gmail account (the ones Facebook adds to my phone and the ones Verizon transferred to my phone are all missing online).

I am pretty sure phone is synced with account, is there a way to check? Contacts should be on phone, but I am not sure. How do I check to see where the contacts are saved?

Edit: I unmounted my SD card and could still see my contacts. When I went to settings then accounts it showed my gmail address.

Update: After a few more tries at playing around with the sync settings and things I still cannot get it to sync my contacts. Anyone else have any ideas?
