Help...how do I get rid of a text message not sent notification

Sounds like a weird loop you are in... i think factory reset is the way to go... your google account would restore your contacts and email but you will loose your call log and text. There may be an app that can back up those for you.

I'm just not sure if it will back up that annoying pop up as well so i would try to avoid it :-)
 
I'm having a problem with my droidforum app. Did you see my post earlier about erasing data/cache instead of resetting your phone?

Your post is on here... to reset the phone or to wipe data/cache to my understanding is almost the same...
 
Thanks. Wipe data/cache can be done for the whole phone like when flashing a new ROM, or it can be done on an app by app basis. Doing just the app does not wipe the whole phone, and will clear out any faulty messages. I've had to do it with the messaging app myself. If you would like directions for this I can post it.

Yeah i seen your message...i was able to clear the data part but it wouldnt let me clear the cache...but im not sure if I was doing it right. Can u please post what you did to get rid of faulty messages?
