*** HELP i jacked up my OG droid***

I have the kernal, But I have two issues. First is that windows isnt showing the phone so I cant open the files this way to try and place in root of the file, and secondly which may or may not be related to the other problem is that I would put it on my sd card using a file exsplorer but I dont have one anymore and my phone isnt recognizing my sd card when I turn it on.

Okay so it showed up and i pasted the update.zip in the root and then I went to install and it said install from sdcard complete, but the staus bar on the bottom of the page shows like 25% complete. Im dont want to do anything until i know whats up, Show I restart or what?

2.6.32.9-p3 But it still reset, and when the phone loads I get a force closed message first thing. But at leat now the battery life is showing the correct amount

When I just leave it on it kinda sits without resetting but If I try and load accounts to resync my stuff it resets

The error I get is process system is not responding. It happens every time.

Right. You probably need to do a hard reset to settle things down, but I wouldn't recommend that till you're flashing your ROM since you have to wipe to ROM jump. Make a backup with Titanium Backup or My Backup Pro before you do, though, to save yourself some headaches.

See if you run into any other problems.

yea it loads my boot animation real fast, but it seems faster then if I wear to turn the phone all the way off. BTW sorry to be bothering you with this at this time of night, I noticed your on the east coast Ouch

I should be up for another hour. Soft resets. Okay, something's jacked up in the system and you'll probably have to do a hard reset to get it to fix -- wipe system and data caches -- which you'll have to do when you load CyanogenMod. If you want to do that now we can do that now.

Okay. Do you want the outdated stable build with a borked voice dialer, the last RC of 6.1, or the latest nightly -- which would be my recommendation as the nightlies are mostly just bugfix releases of the RCs?

In any case, you'll want this -- it's the app pack -- and to let your Droid charge for a while if the battery is down at all. Flashing takes a lot of juice.

I will try 6.1
As far as the battery goes, I honestly have no idea how much i have, the phone was saying like zero percent left earlier before p3 kernel now it says 40 but is on USB so should be charging. I guess I will assume its reading accurately now and im at 40%

I downloaded the app pack, Should I wait for a while to proceed with the flash
