Hi, I'm using a Moto Droid with Page Plus, and I only get 50MB of data each month. I plan to use this data only to Google Maps, and try to limit myself to WIFI when it's available.
This phone is very data intensive, and I can't seem to get it to stop transmitting data! I want to shut data off permanently until I'm ready to use it. I've tried different apps, everything from APNDROID to various widgets, and had no luck. A firewall of sorts would be ideal, so I also tried DroidWall, but was unable to get it to work, as it could not find IPTABLES.
The closest I've gotten was to use the ##7764726 SPC menu to disable data, but it seems that it re enables data if I shut off my wifi connection! Can anyone relate? What's the solution??
