Help! need to go back to stock

i have decided to go to 2.1 recently (not OTA) and now my phone is stuck in a infinite loop of rebooting, ive tried getting the stock firmware but it wont let me install it for some reason
please help!

Have you tried pulling your battery and then rebooting the phone?

NVM i decided to factory reset and it worked PERFECTLY DDDD

after restting, im on 2.1, but i wish to go back to 2.0.1, is there a way?
i tried going into recovery already and updating from the 2.0.1 file but i keep getting an error "assert failed"
