help with facebook and contacts

i have 3 contacts that cannot sync with facebook, i have checked the sync button, and the names and file are good. I have also put in their email.
Ive looked up that if i go to facebook and type in the friend i need to sync, i tap on their profile picture, not their name.
Here's the problem, if you look closely to all the profiles and their small pictures on the left of their name. there is a gray line under the pic and inside the frame. The three names that arent in sync do not have this line, which means that i dont have the any options such as the facebook/messaging/phone/ etc signs.

I really don't have a solution for you, and I know you'd prefer to find out why it's happening but if it's just 3 contacts why not just manually input it into gmail and let gmail handle it for you?

Just a suggestion, maybe someone else will have a better idea.

thank you, but do you understand what the problem is though? i just wanted to make sure i described it good enough for people to understand. This gmail thing, what do you mean by doing that ?

Long shots, but have you tried disabling, then reenabling Facebook sync? Also, you might try either changing you sync options temporary (all, existing) in the app.

Another thing I'd try is to sign out of the fb app and then back in, which will reset all contact info.
