so this winter i got the droid (loved it 
) and i accidentally dropped it in the snow around jan and i couldn't find it i had to switch to an old tour of my dads and now i found my droid and i want to try to get it to work.
i put in rice for 2 weeks and now the only thing that it does is the charging light turns on but doesn't power on. my droid itself water sensor is regular though its showing the red X's with a white background but my battery has the pinkish look to it.
im wondering if i buy a new battery will it work. and for the record i do have insurance i just couldn't afford the deductable at the time since i was unemployed and barely making it by.
any help/suggestions/advice will be helpful
