Help with text problem please

Whenever I go to text someone I have previously texted (reply to a previous message) a draft message pops up and I have to erase what it says.
I have erased all drafts.
I have erased all texts, then gone back and erased all drafts.

With all messages erased, drafts and incoming if my wife sends me a text and I go to reply this same draft keeps popping up. How can I get rid of this problem? It doesn't only happen with one person but many.

I had that problem, but I just had to erase the drafts and it was good. Make sure you erased all draft messages and try rebooting afterwards.

The only fix I found that worked and stuck was to delete the contact then add them back again. Deleting drafts or actually just sending the message that popped up made the message only temporarily disappear.

Found a solution that so far has worked on my Thunderbolt

manage applications > All> messages > clear cache
