yes thats all that link does is give a through explanation of RSD lite. and to get go the bootloader do step5
 
  1. Move the pst_flash.ini file into the following folder --> Program Files/Motorola/RSDLite
When I installed rsd this came with it -->>>pst_flash is that what i move to the program file?

I followed this video. When I start rsd it immediatly fails...help!
 
That method didnt work so im trying this method

Droid X

The drivers i installed are motorola...those are the right ones correct? They came with the sbf download on rootwiki.

I cant figure out how to unzipp the sbf though?

.sbf is the file type you need

the_gift.zip is what you should be downloading if your on 2.1.

use an extracting program such as 7zip to extract the package.

it will contain the sbf needed, the drivers for 64 and 32, and RSD 4.7 with patch.
