Well, the phone is on its way back to VZ. I have a feeling they'll realize that it was, at one point, rooted. My only hope is that somehow I can own up to something and have them only charge me the subsidised price for the replacement vs. full retail. Ouch...well, my rooting days are over for awhile I think

One thing Verizon has no budging on is generally device pricing. The reason is that Verizon actually pays Samsung $600. I got a free one and it was literally approved by the CEO. If it wasn't for that it would have NEVER happened.

I think the drivers are there and are fine. There are two:
Samsung mobile USB CDC composite device (has a pic of a USB cod next to it) and Samsung Mobile USB Modem These were installed from the Samsung site directly

solucion:
a mi me pasaba lo mismo, y solucione de esta forma:
yo no leo he visto en ningun sitio pero a me funciono, y no podia restaurar ni desde odin, ni de kies, salia lo mismo que a ti!

vaje sanfirmware:
la ultima rom para mi dispositivo s4
vaje archivo pit, ultimo s4 para sgh-i9505
al poner el pit, salio opiones de borrar sd,penultima opcion marca la casilla sd, todo menos reparticionear, eso dejalo sin marcar, todo esto por odin, y vuala, funciono actualizo sistema operativo, borro todos los datos, y reinicio, tenia la rom original, sin ningun cambio.
amigo espero haber ayudado, y restaures tu s4, soy nuevo aqui, pero solo me reguistre para ofrecer mi ayuda, a usted y quien aceptarla,un saludo!

EN OPCION,MARCA SOLO, AUTO REBOOT, RE-PARTICION - F.RESET TIME- NAND ERASE ALL- Y T FLASH.

y ya esta, primero prueba sin marcar (Re-Particion), si ha funcionado mejor, si no lo hace marcala tambien, y asi me funciono ami! espero ayudarte,un saludo!
