Hewhat's you with the rumored Ability for droid x to pull updates from other devices?

hey everyone thanks for the response on my last post. my question is what is the deal with the myth that you can pull updates from other devices. I've heard wispers that droid x can pull updates from other devices, and we'll be getting another update for 4g when it comes out? Is this true, and if it is can some one post the link?

false and false.

2.2 for the Incredible is different than 2.2 for the DX. different devices, different updates.

and when LTE (4G) comes out, hardware will be needed to use it.
