Holy Finishing Touches Batman, it's Sapphire 1.0

this is how i deal with the volume rocker issue just in case someone else have an issue. I hold it and when it skip to the next song, i just let go and tap it again. it stop it from getting stuck in a forward mode. it seems to work for me. -=shugs=- annoying yes but i take what i can get :)

god this is why i hate forums. people just gang on someone when all he was doing was OFFERING A SUGGESTION. makes me sick to my stomach the way some people act on forums.

Yet searching could have easily kept you from having to post here at all. The bug tracker or the website would have been a great place to see if this has already been brought up. I mean bugs aren't even supposed to be brought up in the threads, but rather posted or updated on the bug tracker.

Is the Bug Tracker working now? I could only get error messages from phone and laptop.:)

So, I was just checking out the latest Titanium Backup changelog. Everyone who's read my experience with installing Sapphire 1.0 knows that I and another person ran into a reboot problem when trying to restore our apps without logging into google first. Well, I'm guessing this will help:

Code:
Version 3.4.3
=============
- Added a Dalvik cache cleaner (donators only). This can free up internal space in /data and/or /cache.

Version 3.4.2
=============
- [B]Fixed reboot during restore on some Froyo ROMs such as CM6 (CyanogenMod 6).[/B]
- Fixed detection of SQLite of some ROMs.
- Fixed occasional crash during backup in Danish version.

I guess we'll find out when the next version of Sapphire's released. :)

FWIW, applying the stagefright.zip fix (adds the new stagefright code which plays streaming audio correctly) also fixed the volume rocker issue for me. Works great every time now.

I've tried Sapphire 1.0 with LV 1Ghz kernel and I am very impressed with it's stability and performance. Ability to control music without unlocking the phone is priceless option for me. Great job and I hope you keep up the good work. Thanks.

Did you hear cvpcs has a twitter? Sometimes there can be some interesting tidbits on there...

You stop that! You're causing trouble again! :P I know what you're inferring there. And if I hadn't been at an airshow all day, I might even be inclined to go look. You're just mean. :P

I checked the "tidbit" out... liking it very much actually. I'm surprised that it's not bigger news here...

Really great rom! I was using Liquid 1.5 but was having some lag and other force close issues. No issues so far with Sapphire! Really like the minimalistic base rom!

Work prevents me from accessing such tidbits :icon_evil:

here's an interesting tidbit...

Figured it was something like that...while I'd love to toss it on my phone i just finally got my theme and desktop how i want it so i'ma try to show some patience for the release rather than playing with betas...of course I say that now and I certainly know my propensity towards wanting to play with the newer toys so we'll see what i'm thinking in the next half hour :)
