Anyone know of an app that can replace the Home++ powerstrip feature?

After upgrading to 2.1 I uninstalled Home++ (Lots of force close, and very slow sometimes). I really miss the powerstrip feature at the bottom of the screen, and I am in need of a replacment.

Anyone have any suggestions? I am having difficulty finding one.

Thanks

Hmm....this looks like an entire home screen replacement.

I am looking just for the "power strip" feature instead of an entire overhaul.

why dont you be a little more specific about the problem your having?

Id be glad to give you what your asking but i am not aware of such an app. I am running 2.1 and have not 1 force close with Home++ so far..

Try installing a different version on the homepage from the developer, it even utilizes live wallpapers if you take off workspace looping and wall paper scroll

Introducing Home++ (Home++ by Intuitit)

download the one that looks like this in the left side under downloads..

Home++ beta 0.8.0.7.15

hope that helps..

Switched to Helix Launcher three days ago after a couple months of Home++. While it is a total replacement, I recommend you try this one. No force closes and extra screens. If there is a performance hit, I don't notice it after coming from Home++. Seems much more stable as well. No force closes!

I too recently switched from H++ to Helix -- better performance, imo.

Another +1 for Helix. You don't get a Power Strip, but you have spaces for 4 icons that'll be on every screen.

Thanks for the recommendation on Helix. Downloaded it, and it works great. No FC, much more responsive than Home++.

Thanks again!!!

i would also totally love just the powerstrip from h++ at the bottom but with costomizing features so you can add what you want to the bottom... like a txt msg icon instead of the terrible voice search feature. are there maybe some tutorials on here that might start to explain how i might make it?

With Helix you get something very similar, but are limited to 4 items...you can put any 4 items you want in the "power strip" bar on the bottom.
