Home Replacement Apps: ADW Launcher

Have you accidently locked your homescreen? It disables changes. Press the menu button and see if "Unlock Desktop" appears, if it does press it.

It's an interesting feature, it allows you to "lock" your desktop to prevent any accidental changes. I think Anderweb added the feature after he made the App Drawer icon editable, and too many people accidently did actually remove their app drawer icon.
Not only that but he turned it into a shortcut rather than the other. However, with the swipe-up command that becomes a moot point -- except for hard-noses like me who insist on having it in the dock.

So, then you long-press, create shortcut, custom shortcut, and open app drawer. Now you take that and replace the dock icon... or just leave one on every home screen.

Exactly I remember mentioning the swipe up OR swipe down feature, or you could have it coded to your Home button, too.

I gladly purchased ADW Launcher Ex, glad to support a developer who continuously adds more and more!

By the way I still haven't forgotten about updating the post to reflect changes since 1.2.0 into 1.3.6. I still have it on my phone since after upgrading to the paid version (ADW Launcher Ex) specifically so I can write a FAQ on it.

By accident I removed the app drawer button and replaced it with text message. How do I get it back I tryed reseting adw settings and everything but I cant find it again. Thanks

Long press on your home screen like you are trying to add a widget and then click launcher actions. Go to the the one that says open app drawer. Once it's added drag it down to where you want it to be and drop it and it will replace whatever is there.

+1, you can also press your menu button and then press Add instead of longpressing.

Create a shortcut on one of your home screens for the icon and then drag it over the current button and it will replace it for you.

Does anybody can help me with this ADW Launcher??
I'm change "Application" button on the docking bar to "Message" one. And now I can't take it back.
I tried to reset ADW. But it didn't help. This I have now:

Any ideas?
Also sometimes docking bar disappear. I find solution how to get it back(without restaring the phone) but I still don't know why it happens.
Thanks

P.S. I have read WorldOfJohnboy's advice. But I can't create "Application' shortcut on the desktop. It not in the list.

How accurate is that FAQ? New X, less than a week, didn't even know what a launcher was until yesterday.... am I going to be able to follow that FAQ alright or should I wait? I mean, are the changes additions to what's there or is some of that now completely wrong?

I accidentally deleted the whole bottom bar on my home screen. It had the app drawer in the middle, the browser on the right, and tesxt messaging on the left. I am running squidlymandingo's stock ROM. How do I get it back?
