However, you can always go back to launcherpro, unless you uninstall it. And your widgets/settings should still be there

That's cool, I hope you enjoy your ADW.Launcher experience
I'll be adding more ways to customize without even getting into settings.
You can REALLY tweak it using settings but that's going to be a bit more involved.

I haven't installed ADW .... YET. Since I have ONLY widgets on my home screen, are they going to remain after a reboot? That was my only gripe with LauncherPro, every time I rebooted my phone all the widgets were gone from the home screen.

Nope, my widgets stay on my home screens, however gotta make sure your widget controlling apps are installed to your phone and not your SD card.

The 4 widgets I used on my home screen were all on my phone, not the SD card... yet every time I rebooted they went *Poof*

weird, well try out ADW if you want and see if it works for you, its not like it costs anything![]()

OK, one last question... does ADW have the option of all the screens on one screen like LauncherPro did? That's one of the things I liked the most. If it does I'm sold LOL

Are you talking about "Home Screen Previews"?
Then yes!
I haven't gotten to that part of my FAQ yet but a "pinch" motion goes to your home screen previews, but you can also set one of your buttons for that. I have my "home" soft-button set for that (when currently on my default home screen). I do believe you can set it to other actions as well.

OK I'm sold on that. I'm going to download it, but the very first thing I am going to do is set up my home screen with my widgets and see if they survive a reboot. I have no icons on my home screen, its just a personal preference. On my way to the market... thanks for your help.![]()

Anytime, just to let you know, the barcode I included should take you straight there. IF you search for ADW.Launcher on the market, you sometimes have to weed through the tons of themes just to find the launcher itself.
OK, so far so good. After a reboot I did loose one widget. It's a battery widget called "Gauge Battery Widget", it looks like a fuel gauge. (Since I'm a race car driver I liked the look of it LOL)
This same widget did the same thing in LauncherPro and in ADW, it says "problem loading widget" after a reboot, however it also disappears from the widget list when I try to add it back. I don't know, such is life. But my clock widget, my weather widget, and my girlfriend's photo widget all survived two reboots.
(My girlfriend asked me last night why I didn't have her pic on my phone any more, I told her I was trying to figure out how to get it to stay there and she gave me a dirty look LOL)
Overall, I'm sold. Now to go replace my screens and find another battery widget. LOL Thanks again!

Anytime! As to it now showing up on your widget list, that's always been an SD Card thing for me, I've got my phone automatically installing any new app to my SD card, which is ok at first, but when I realized that about widgets it got annoying, so I went back and "moved" every widget app to my phone.
Just sayin'
