Hey Bama,

I have the Droid DNA, and here is what I would say. The phone is blazing fast. It has a ton of memory, and even more horsepower. The phone itself is a really good size. It has a lot of features out if the box. The camera and display are probably the two biggest features. The images and display are crisp and vibrant. Now then, do you plan on tinkering with the phone? By that I mean do you plan to root it, unlock it, s-off it, etc? If so, then it might not be the phone for you. A while back there was a software update that made unlocking or S-OFFing the phone very hard.

While there is always a chance the someone will unlock it, I'm afraid its going to become the next Bionic.

I prob wont root it or anything like that. Ok what about battery life i have the rezound now and battery life has always been terrible. Also, i saw that it only has 16 gig storage. What about an sd card, can you put one in it? Thanks

You can't put in an sd card. It does only have 16gb which almost led me to not get the DNA. However I'm glad i got it. It's super fast, turns on in literally 5 seconds (hard to believe but true).

Battery life is slightly better than the gsp. Other than Motorola and new phones (gs4 and htc one) it probably had the best battery

I have had the DNA from the first day it was released (practically) and it has performed almost flawlessly. I use Google Music to store my music (20gb free space, uploaded music from Laptop). This is just an icon on your phone's app list. I also use Dropbox (free 5 gb of Cloud storage) found in the Playstore. Benefit of Playstore it's it automatically uploads your pictures. I also use Dropbox to send up my backup files when I chose to factory reset my device. Awesome phone!

Coming from Original Droid with Bugless Beast 6.2.1 overclocked to 1.2GHz CPU + 64GB external sdcard - Get the DNA!!!!

Droid DNA quad core 1.5 GHz CPU - It's fast. Powerful!!! Deal with the limited internal SDCard. Watch mp4 movies on it - you won't let it go...... use the camera. Hold the shutter for "best shot" and see the DNA produce amazing photos for you to choose from. Worth getting.

BTW Sandisk 64 GB class 10 microsdcard became corrupted. Further, microsdcard gets damaged with constant removing / reinserting card into reader then back into phone to add /change data. Having inside non-removable sdcard means that damage won't happen. Small bright point.

I have the Droid DNA in the Samsung Galaxy s4 and I end up using my DNA most of the time.

How's that battery? I was impressed with the phone just not a fan of small batteries with no swap...

Major negative of non-removable batteries is that the CIA | NSA can actively listen to your conversations when you are off the phone. The only real way to completely ensure private conversation is to do a battery pull. Doing no wrong - don't worry. Battery holds up. Bring a charger.

Plus they will know where you are from internal GPS. Nice to know you're never alone.....

I don't like to be married to a charger.. RULE #1 for me.. I see so many people with iPhone connecting everywhere.. Same with some friends had original RAZR.. I'm like get rid of that phone. You charge more than you use it.. Nexus phone is smooth I loved the experience then after constantly looking for new kernels /Roms to make it last longer I gave up.. I'm power user.. No charger except car is what I want..
DNA is solid for sure.. I played with it plenty and came away impressed.. I just don't like to be forced to cloud service.. And I like a spare battery on the go.. Just my. 02....
