Hotmail not working

Hey I have logged into my hotmail and it worked for a couple days then today it has a triangle that comes up on my notification bar that said unable to log in from hotmail.what do I do

Do you have Hotmail setup via the Email app or are you trying to access it via the Browser?

I have had this issue ever since I got my Droid 2 in October. My Live (hotmail), Linkedin and Facebook accounts are all set up through the email app and I usually have a problem with one those not syncing every day. I just keep hitting "retry".
