Hotmail enabled push support last year, and you can set it up through the steps to add an Exchange account:
Server / URL - m.hotmail.com
Username - Enter full email address, for example: [email protected]
Domain - Leave this blank
SSL - Enable this
Certificate - Accept the SSL certificate when prompted
Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Tasks - All can be enabled

I used it for awhile when they first enabled it, but things would never sync properly in that changes I made from my phone never carried over to the actual inbox. I'd sign in online and all of the messages I read/deleted on my phone were still there and were listed as unread. Maybe things have improved. I started forwarding my Hotmail stuff to Gmail to make things easier, so I haven't used it for awhile.
