How can I delete some apps that come with Droid X?

Ok that's good to know. Once rooted how would I freeze it? Let's say I freeze them. Would I have to jump through hoops to get the next OTA? I noticed all sorts of crazy things when Froyo came out about people with root and updating.

As long as all of the original stuff is there, you can update. Just not automatically. You would need to physically go and check for it.

I rooted and I'm running a non blur rom. I did a nandroid backup of the stock operating system before I messed with anything. I did not delete anything because that will bring issues like reboots and freezing.
