How can I see 3g cell strength, more than just bars?

Is there a way to see my 3g signal strength something besides looking at the bars at the top of the screen?

Maybe something that would be in Db's.

Lately my bars have been jumping from none to 4 bars and I would like to see my actual Db receive/transmit levels when this is happening. This occurs with the phone is just sitting in the cradle??? This would give me some more ammunition in my fruitless conversations with Verizon support. So far all they tell me to do is a *228 or pull the battery and wait 5 minutes..:icon_evil:

Settings > About Phone > Status > Signal Strength

No offense meant by this but you're kind of making a big deal out of nothing.

It doesn't matter if you have 1 bar or 4 bars. So long as you got a 3G signal that's all you should worry about.

In my house I frequently even go to 1x and that doesn't trip my trigger at all. It's just the way the coverage goes sometimes.

try real signal. Free in the market. No DB reading but you can set the bars to certain DB levels. But it is on your not. bar.
