I am trying to unroot a Droid 1.

I have clockwork recovery installed currently.

I need to restore SPRecovery in order to apply the stock image.

I know that ROM Manager is supposed to do it...but it gives me an error when I try.

Anyone know how I can get SPRecovery back?

What is an SBF file and how do you apply it? Is it the same as doing an update.zip?

How do you apply SBFs?

That page has a link to "RSD-Lite" but it goes to a blank page.

Ok...your link was kinda helpful.

An easier way was to simply put the SPRecovery IMG file in my SDCard directory, and then user a terminal emulator app to apply (type within the terminal emulator app) the following:

su

flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery-0.99.3b.img

The "recovery-0.99.3b.img" file was what it was named. It did apply it correctly, and I rebooted and can see SPRecovery now. It got rid of Clockwork.
