How do I sync my contacts with Facebook?

I just upgraded from a Note 4 to a 7... wow, what a difference!

I'm having trouble getting my contacts to sync with Facebook so that people's FB profile pic will show up as their contact photo. I'm not sure what I did on the Note 4 to make this happen.

Any input is appreciated. Thanks.

In the main settings of the phone, find the accounts menu & make sure your Facebook account is setup in there (this is separate from having the Facebook app).

The Facebook app itself used to sync contact info, but now Samsung does it because they don't.

When I switched to a Nexus phone, I found an app called "Sync.me" that has plenty more options, but I basically just use it for contact picture syncing.

I've got it setup to only do so over wifi while charging, so it basically updates nightly.

Nope. Syncing fb calendar and contacts is no longer possible in Note 7

Guide to transfer contacts from Facebook to Android:
- Tap "Settings" on your Android phone's menu and then choose "Account & Sync";
- Choose Facebook and click on it. But if you haven't added your FB account to your Android Account, you would not see the FB in the list of accounts. If so, you should tap on the option at the bottom of the screen to do that;
- Continue by choosing the "Sync contacts" option and then Click "Sync Now".
