How do you delete pictures

You press and hold on the picture you want in the gallery, then in the right top corner there is a menu button. Thats where you can delete and what not.

Seems like there are certain albums (such as Profile Pictures) which cannot be deleted or hidden. I downloaded and use QuickPic instead. Doesn't show those albums and has tons of options.

When I open my pictures folder it has a bunch of different Albums, ok that's nice, but one of the albums is named Instant Uploads "the one I am having issues with" and beneath it is the damn Picasa icon, now those pics are the ones I took with my Rezound, and now they show up in this phones gallery, the crazy thing is they are not in my Picasa web album "what gives", and they are the only ones I can not delete from the phone, all other folders the option is there to delete any picture I want, this is real frustrating.

To get rid of the Picasa album, go to Settings -> Accounts and sync -> your Google account -> uncheck "Sync Picasa Web albums"

The "Instant Uploads" folder is for Google+. When you first signed into Google+, you had the option to use Instant Upload, or the option to turn it off. It's also in the settings of the Google+ app (Menu -> Settings). There's also a setting for this under the above Accounts and sync. It says "Sync Google Photos."

After you deactivate the sync for Picasa and Google Photos, along with turning off instant uploads in Google+, go into the Application Manager in the settings and clear cache and data for both the Gallery and Google+. For the Google+ "Instant Uploads" folder, it's possible that you may also have to uninstall the Google+ updates, disable the app, and then re-enable it in order to completely get rid of it. I can't say 100% for sure on that one because I keep Google+ completely disabled.

Same issue w/ me.....I cannot delete instant uploads album or pictures in that album........driving me crazy!

Maybe try a sumn like es file explorer and see if u can delete them from there!

may a fix...

I deleted my google account from my phone (but this also removes my gmail account)....and the instant upload folder disappeared. Added my google account back and the instant upload folder returned. I then logged onto my google + account and then went to 'photos' on the left and there the pictures were that I was trying to deleted from my phone. I deleted them off my google + account and then the disappeared from my phone...WOOHOO!

I can also confirm this problem. Is it possible that the instant upload folder can only be edited from our Google + pages directly? Just a thought.
