How do you know battery is going bad?

This is the same thing that happened to my last phone.

Phone goes dead, and I try to recharge. But Now I receive a blank screen with the green light.

It charges for a while and then suddenly the phone comes on and sets up and the battery shows red.

I turn the phone Off to charge, but about 5 min later it comes back on again then shuts down again.

Its in an endless cycle.

I cannot seem to charge the battery.

When I got my LNR phone I had to use the old battery, but it worked for about 2 months. Now its doing
it again.

Finally got enough Juice into the battery to stop the cycling. Then it charged normal after that.

Apparently if you let the battery go to deep deep red, you can get into this behavior. Odd.

My battery has drained completely and my phone has actually shut down but I have never had this issue. I would take it in to Verizon to see what's up. You may need a new battery.
