How do you Manually Edit a Music Playlist? Where are the playlists stored??

I don't normally use music tools to manage my music. I just have all mp3s and keep them manually organized in folders. But the Music Player doesn't have an option to just 'Play All in this folder'.

So, I guess I need to create a few Playlists. But doing that from the DI will take hours! So, I thought I could just create them from my computer using notepad? Is that possible?

Any other ideas greatly appreciated!!

Well, in case anybody else reads this post and wants a solution, here is what I did....

I read several suggestions on sync'ing music and playlists to your Droid's drive or card, but I found that not to be necessary.I connected my DI to my pc and mounted the hard drives.
  1. Then I navigated to the Music folders on the DI drive.
  2. I dragged all the Country music into Winamp.
  3. I then saved it as a Playlist in a folder called 'My Playlists' that I created on the DI drive.
  4. I did this for all the music, creating Playlists for each Genre.
Then I disconnected my DI from the pc and opened up the Music app, and selected the Playlist tab. It searched and found all of my playlists. All of the playlists that Winamp saved had the .m3u file extension, and that worked.
