How do you remove personal phone number

I have a Motorola Droid Razr ready to be sold. Has been reset to factory settings, but my phone number still appears. How can that be removed? Thanks all.

Deactivate the phone but putting the SIM card in to another 4G phone and it becoming the activated phone. (your SIM stays with you, buyer has to get his own SIM)
